Prof. V. K. Damodaran is an experienced technologist and energy expert from India. He held many prestigious positions within India and abroad. He is currently working on identifying and implementing appropriate technologies for facing the impacts of climate change worldwide. An international consultant to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, he strives to help the third world countries to use Renewable Energy for the needs of the rural poor. To remember him easy, he was the President of Kerala Sastra Sahithya Parishad (KSSP), when its campaign for saving the Silent Valley Rain Forest from axe began in the late 1970s.

Engineer NT Nair dedicated his life to promote science in the society and inspire young minds to become what they aspire and to enjoy what they achieved. He is the Chief Editor & Publisher of ‘Executive Knowledge Lines’ a content rich Scientific monthly from Kerala, which introduces the latest scientific innovations in brief with authenticity and clarity. He is the advocate of ‘Brevity’ in writing and believes in telling the fact straight and short.Ram Kamal is a voluntarily retired journalist, when the newspapers and news agencies he worked for changed their business strategy from news to views. Since then, for the last 15 years, he is working as an international branding consultant for global brands and agencies. He also has working experience with global sports and welfare organizations such as FIFA, AFC, IOC, Commonwealth, IEF, WTU, IBF and Red Crescent. His knowledge and experience in the event management and branding have seen him working with Olympic, FIFA, Asian Games and other major games and sporting events across the globe. He fathered many commercially successful global brands from Hospitality to Airlines, Cosmetics and Consumer goods. Chakshumathi is his baby and a challenging Social Brand to reach global. His passion in assistive technology is the reason behind founding Chakshumathi

Dr. Pradeep Jeothi(Director and Mentor)

Ambassador to Kerala’s great Ayurveda Heritage, Dr. Pradeep is an engineer by profession and is managing his family’s century’s old Ayurveda Nursing home named Vasudeva Vilasam Nursing Home. He believes in the goodness of the world to positively heal the world from its current deteriorating condition. A philanthropist by nature, Dr. Pradeep feels Ayurveda and Yoga are the best cure for nerve related eye ailments. Dr. Pradeep lead’s Chakshumathi’s eye donation campaign called ‘Do not bury or burn’ and the eye health programmes for the welfare of the visually affected community

Suresh Balaraman( Director and Mentor)

By profession he is a Tea Pundit and his family is in the tea export trade since 1919. He hails from Mattanchery, the tiny town with its own character and charm and was the hub of tea and spice export of then Kerala. An avid music lover and a person with great business connection joined Chakshumathi with a cause to contribute his free hours for the welfare of the Blind and the visually impaired community. He says great singers close their eyes once they reach the ultimate sink in singing, and in life we need to see less and listen more. His update knowledge of sound and recording is the asset of Chakshumathi.
